A video of late highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, sharing a plate of kenkey has warmed hearts online.

Daddy Lumba, known for a career that spanned decades, died at the age of 60 on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
He fell ill at his home located at East Legon in Accra and was rushed to the Bank Hospital at Cantonments.
Daddy Lumba died at the hospital despite fervent attempts to save his life.
Before he died, the singer had battled multiple health challenges after he underwent surgery to repair injuries to his spine.
The surgeries were successful, but later complications made life difficult, sometimes leaving him bedridden.
His death sparked nationwide mourning as Ghanaians of all ages and backgrounds grieved the passing of a great highlife legend.
