During a recent episode of the show, Okatakyie Afrifa expressed his disappointment in the way EOCO allegedly broke into Shatta Wale's home to seize his 2019 Lamborghini Urus.
EOCO released a statement that the seizure of the Lamborghini is linked to an FBI case in which Shatta Wale and a former officer of the National Signals Bureau are persons of interest.
Shatta Wale was said to have in his possession a Lamborghini Urus, which the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) had tied to one Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month prison term in the United States.
Despite EOCO's clarifications, Okatakyie Afrifa maintains that the raid was part of the current government's efforts to suppress Shatta Wale's brand.
"They used his following to increase their votes. After, they used EOCO to intimidate him into silence," Okatakyie Afrifa asserted.
He established that the On God hitmaker was planning on suing EOCO for their unlawful raid.
Shatta Wale claims that EOCO's boss, Raymond Archer, invited him to the office, but he declined, citing the president's declaration of a three-day national mourning in honour of the recent helicopter crash victims as his reason.
In a Facebook post, he said,
"As our Honourable Leaders crash and we are mourning for the country, Raymond, you still have that strong heart to let your boy Agyenim call my team to tell me you are inviting me where," he wrote on Facebook.
