Videos of the homes owned by Ghanaian highlife legend Daddy Lumba have surfaced on social media after his death.

Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, was reported dead on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
He died at the Bank Hospital in Accra after a short illness at the age of 60.
Reports of Daddy Lumba’s death emerged early in the day on Saturday and stirred a panic on social media.
Ghanaians, celebs mourn the late Daddy Lumba
Numerous prominent celebrities, including US-based media personality Afia Schwarzenegger and Gomoa Central Member of Parliament (MP) Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A-Plus, mourned Daddy Lumba on their timelines.

Meanwhile, popular disc jockey and media personality Andy Dosty denied the rumours. Eventually, the highlife legend's family shared a statement at around 1:00 p.m. and confirmed the sad news.
"With profound sorrow and deep grief, the Fosu family announces the passing of Ghana's beloved musical icon, Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, who passed away earlier today, Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a short illness," the statement said.

Daddy Lumba’s mansions surface after his death
In the wake of his death, numerous prominent Ghanaians appeared at the late singer’s East Legon mansion to mourn with his family.
Media personality and mega-fan, Serwaa Amihere, legendary highlife musician Kojo Antwi and his wife, Rocklyn, media personalities KKD and KOD, and many others were seen at the home.
