Controversial Ghanaian preacher Nana Agradaa has stirred online discussions after a group of her alleged sika gari victims launched fresh action against her.

Nana Agradaa, real name Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, has been jailed for 15 years at the Nsawam Prison in the Eastern Region.
Agradaa was accused of defrauding several church attendees in 2022, after she claimed that she could double their money.
The Heaven Way Church pastor ran advertisements boasting of her supposed power, which led dozens of Ghanaians into the church hoping for their money to be doubled.
During the service, Nana Agradaa reportedly took the sums of money people brought to her to double and then kicked them out.
After a three-year trial, the Accra Circuit Court found her guilty and sentenced her on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

Nana Agradaa's alleged victims to sue her
According to Ghanaian media personality Otwinoko, a group of alleged 'sika gari' victims are preparing to launch a class action lawsuit against her.
The media personality, who has been interviewing several of these alleged victims on-air, spoke to a lawyer who pledged their support towards moving forward with the lawsuit.
Prior to becoming a pastor, Nana Agradaa was a priestess and also claimed to be able to double money.
Claiming she was the priestess of a deity called ‘Sika Gari’, Agradaa allegedly took money from numerous victims with promises of doubling it.
She reportedly gave her victims ‘numbers’ to stake in the lottery to get their money back, but they ended up losing.
One of Nana Agradaa’s victims, narrating her experience, said the priestess used heavily built men to intimidate her after she asked for her money back when the doubling ‘trick’ did not work.
Another victim, known as Sarah, chased her down during a recent court appearance and accused her of swindling her out of her family’s gold.
Otwinoko said he has gathered victims such as these for them to launch a joint case against Nana Agradaa, seeking either a return of their money or more jail time for her.

Nana Agradaa opens church in prison
Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Nana Agradaa launched a new church in Nsawam prison.
Agradaa, the founder and leader of the Heaven Way Church, has been jailed for fifteen years after being convicted of fraud.
Her husband, Angel Asiamah, announced to their congregation on Sunday, August 3, that his wife continues to serve God from behind bars, as she has established a new congregation.
