Award-winning Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has courted attention following his public encounter with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

The comic actor was among numerous personalities who recently attended the one-week observance of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, at the Manhyia Palace.
Former presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and Nana Akufo-Addo, and top NPP officials, including Dr Mahamaudu Bawumia, his wife Samira Bawumia, Kennedy Agyapong, and Matthew Opoku Prempeh, attended the event.
Businessmen Dr Osei Kwame Osei Despite and Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, and John Asiedu Nketia, also attended the one-week observance to commiserate with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and sign the book of condolences.

Lil Win kneels to greet Otumfuo
At the late Asantehemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III's one-week observance, Lil Win had an interaction with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
In a video, the Kumawood actor, sporting a black funeral cloth, beamed with a smile as he shook hands with the Asantehene, who was overjoyed to see him while in the presence of his subjects and other traditional leaders at the public gathering held at the Manhyia Palace.

Lil Win made the sign of the cross to express his excitement at being among the few individuals from the large crowd present to meet and interact with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Asantehemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III's one-week observance.
Following their encounter, the Wezzy Empire label boss took to his official Instagram page to rave about his special moment with the Asantehene.
He wrote:
"Today, I had the solemn honour of being present at the one-week observation rites of the Asantehemaa, and in that sacred setting, I met His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II."
"It was a profound moment of reflection on the rich traditions of Asanteman, the deep respect accorded to our Queen Mother, and the timeless leadership of the Asantehene. I am truly humbled to have witnessed such a historic occasion and to have stood in the presence of His Majesty."
