Ghanaian internet personality and actress Queenstar Anaafi of YOLO TV series fame has lost her father, Mr David Anaafi Darko.

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, the young actress took to her official Instagram page to make the sad announcement ahead of her late father's one-week observation.

The sombre event is set to be held at her family's home at Tema Community 2, near Italian flats, on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Queenstar Anaafi shared photos of her memorable moments with her deceased father, Mr David Anaafi Darko and her two male siblings over the years.

The YOLO TV series actress also paid an emotional tribute to her father, who passed away at 78. In her tribute, she expressed gratitude to her late father for the love and sacrifices he made for her and her family throughout the years.

She wrote:

"Hmm. I will always love and miss you, Daddy. The world feels cold without your presence. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for us.Thank you for making us a priority and protecting us. We know we are loved and worthy because you showed us every day. I can’t accept this loss, but I will learn to live with it. I miss you Daddy. See you in my dreams.❤️."

The two actresses were spotted hanging out together in a plush room as they attended a private wedding ceremony with many others.

Queenstar Anaafi and Kimberly Achiaa Sarpong responded to fans' claims that they were twins as they jammed to Nigerian musician Maleek Berry’s 2013 smash hit, The Matter, which featured Grammy-nominated Afrobeats artist Wizkid.
