Stonebwoy Breaks His Silence on EOCO’s Seizure of Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini Urus

Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has broken his silence on the EOCO's seizure of his rival Shatta Wale's Lamborghini Urus.

In a recent interview on The Fix podcast, the BHIM Nation president was asked if he played any role in helping the authorities confiscate his rival's prized asset.
In reply, he noted that Shatta Wale had firsthand information about his entire situation with the EOCO before it became public.
He also recounted his past description of the SM boss as a 'settings' man during his infamous 2024 interview on Angel FM in Kumasi.
Stonebwoy shared that he had been privy to some information about people in the music industry due to his reputation as a prominent stakeholder.

The dancehall musician noted that most of his colleagues were interested in living fake lifestyles due to the demands of the Ghanaian music industry.
He denied involvement in Shatta Wale's issues with the EOCO, stating that he was just monitoring the situation like everyone else.
He also noted his opposition to certain issues that were occurring behind the scenes among the figures in the music industry.
"I say this most often that if some of the things that I knew were known by some other people on the other side, I wouldn't sleep. I would lose my head over it because they wouldn't shut up, just because it is like a weapon that is used to strike people."
Stonebwoy: Shatta Wale should focus on career
Musician Stonebwoy noted that he was solely focused on his musical career and expected his rival to do the same.
He said he was not interested in getting entangled in unnecessary drama with other artists.

The BHIM Nation boss also dismissed talks of him still engaging in a feud with Shatta Wale, stating that no one could start a beef with him.
Stonebwoy claimed that his colleague artist was beefing with himself and boldly stated that they were not at the same level.
He noted that he was not afraid of engaging in a beef with his rival and highlighted some of the victories he scored over the SM boss in their past lyrical battles.

EOCO seizes Shatta Wale's Lamborghini Urus
On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) announced the seizure of Shatta Wale's yellow Lamborghini Urus, which he purchased in 2024.

In a press release, the agency noted that they carried out a raid at the musician's Trasacco Valley residence and retrieved the vehicle after a request from the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Department of Justice.

The security agencies had linked the dancehall musician's car to a Ghanaian man named Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month (seven years) prison term in the US.
EOCO noted that Shatta Wale and a former National Signal Bureau official were persons of interest and would be invited to assist with their ongoing investigations.

EOCO boss responds to Shatta after seizure
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that the EOCO boss responded to Shatta Wale's remarks after the seizure of his Lamborghini Urus.
In a video, Raymond Archer noted that he was focused on grieving the eight people who died in the August 6 helicopter crash.
The EOCO boss also shared that he would speak on the matter involving Shatta Wale and his Lamborghini Urus at a later stage.
