He spoke amid the controversy over an alleged altercation between political activist Ralph St Williams and nurses at Ridge Hospital.

Ralph visited the facility on Sunday, August 17, after suffering injuries in an accident.

He berated nurses at the emergency ward of the hospital over their lack of urgency in dealing with his ailment and that of another gentleman who was in critical condition.

Ralph St Williams went viral after he shared a video of the incident online, but was later accused of assaulting nurses at the facility.

He said when they arrived, there was little sense of urgency from the nurses, which he found to be disturbing.

Yeboah narrated a particularly disturbing incident when nurses said they needed to draw blood from his sister for tests.

He said that before they could draw the blood, they said they needed ice to preserve the sample, and they spent more than 30 minutes making calls trying to procure the ice.

He stated that at one point, he got fed up and left to procure the ice himself and bring it, marvelling at the laidback practices of nurses in an emergency ward.

Yeboah added that during the night, three people lying next to his sister in the ward died, only for her to also pass away the next day.

He added that he felt compelled to blast the nurses as Ralph recently did but controlled himself.
