The controversial Ghanaian media personality criticised the action of the authorities, terming it unnecessary and uncalled for. She also raved at what she described as disorder among law enforcers in the country.
In her critique, Afia Schwarzenegger cited the persistent problem of kidnapping and illegal mining, which she believed had taken a back seat in favour of the apparent theft of a luxury vehicle.
She wondered why, rather than addressing these more pressing issues, authorities appeared preoccupied with what is reported to be a fraudulent activity involving a vehicle owned by Shatta Wale.

Adding a touch of humor to her commentary, Schwarzenegger sarcastically remarked that if the vehicle’s origins justified its seizure, then her own twin sons were 'stolen' by Ibrahim Mahama.
She joked that, by the same logic, they should also be returned. The comment served to emphasise her point about what she perceives as a misplaced focus by the authorities.
This lambasting comes after the EOCO’s actions on August 5, 2025.
