A powerful delegation led by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has received the mortal remains of the eight persons who perished in the Ghana Armed Forces plane crash.
A solemn ceremony was held to officially hand over the bodies to the state after they were transported from the accident scene.

This is after a Ghana Armed Forces helicopter carrying eight persons, made up of five government officials and three crew members, crashed while en route to Obuasi for an event.
All eight people were reported dead after parts of the aircraft and their bodies were discovered on a highland.

A video sighted by YEN.com.gh shows the moment the bodies were being prepared to be transported to the Air Force Base in Accra.
According to a CitiNews reporter, some rituals were performed before the bodies were finally conveyed to Accra.

Eight bodies arrive in Accra
In another footage sighted by YEN.com.gh, some military officers were spotted carrying eight coffins draped with the Ghana flag, which contained the remains of the men who died while serving the nation.
A prayer was said by some clergymen for the deceased souls when the bodies arrived in Accra. They were all transported to the morgue after all necessary rituals were performed.
