The General Overseer of the Word Encounter Service With The Oracle of God, Prophet Maxwell Acheampong, has reacted to the helicopter crash in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, which claimed eight lives.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the man of God, who was addressing his congregants at church on August 8, 2025, revisited his earlier prophecy on the tragic incident where he claimed to have foretold that the aircraft would crash.

He added that in the case of the recent tragedy, if the helicopter had crashed in a bustling city or town, the casualties would have been more.
Prophet Maxwell Acheampong then shared a new prophecy claiming that a bigger aircraft was going to crash.
He then opened up on the relevance of prophets to the nation and the role they play in the Kingdom ministry.

Eight perish in a helicopter crash
Eight individuals died in a helicopter crash in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
The victims included five high-ranking members of the NDC administration and three crew members.
The eight individuals were en route to the official launch of the Responsible Cooperative Mining and Skills Development Programme (rCOMSDEP), an anti-Galamsey event, in Obuasi before the tragic crash.
President John Dramani Mahama has opened up on plans to establish an educational fund to cater for the children of the deceased.

Roja Prophesies doom about David Dontoh
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that a famed Ghanaian prophet claims to have received foresight about things that will happen in the life of veteran Ghanaian actor David Dontoh.
Prophet Roja, in a video, said he foresaw that David was in distress and called on Ghanaians to pray for him.
This prophecy is in the backdrop of his earlier prophecy that a plane would crash in Ghana.
