"So when a media house puts out such content without taking steps to protect the identity of the young lady, the gender minister would act, and I will also act to take that media house off air. Because it’s about public safety," he stated.

He also mentioned that his Ministry will soon sanitise the media space and ensure the broadcast of safe content.

"Very soon, we will do a proper cleanup of the media space," he said.

Why is Sam George furious over the broadcast?

On Friday, August 8, 2025, Lawson Media featured a young lady who was still schooling on its Efisem show.

The young lady had dragged an old man to the show to demand compensation after he had been in a relationship with her for many years and had decided to jilt her.

The lady was demanding compensation for the intended breakup. The man defended himself; however, police officers came in and arrested him.
