A Ghanaian lady has expressed her frustration with the rising costs of goods in the country, especially from online vendors.

Taking to her TikTok page, the lady, identified as Mrs Emefa, focused her rant on the online vendors, who she claimed are responsible for making everyday life unaffordable for many Ghanaians.

In the trending video, the lady shared her experience of trying to buy a children's supplement. She claimed to have noticed a stark price difference between local and international vendors.

According to her, she noticed the same product she wanted to purchase was sold for $20 (roughly GH₵250) on platforms like Amazon.

However, when she checked with local online shops in Ghana, one vendor was selling the same product for GH₵560, more than double the price she found abroad.

While highlighting the exorbitant pricing strategies of some online sellers, she asked:

"How much is shipping on a 200ml bottle? How much are they adding for administrative charges and rent?"
