In a video shared on social media, the pastor, identified as Bishop Abraham Adjei, during a sermon, emphasised to his listeners the importance of mind over the daily routine of searching for 'good' white-collar jobs.
The man of God explained the significance of using one's mind, talents, and abilities to create meaningful contributions to society, rather than solely relying on the traditional job hunting routine.
According to him, many Ghanaians find it difficult to display their potential because they keep applying for jobs despite the constant rejections.
In his words:
"You have been searching for a job, and you have been to all the factories, but you never get accepted. Can you not sit in your room and pray?"
He continued by urging his followers to take a step of faith and 'brainstorm' business ideas that would make them financially free.
"... and also do serious brainstorming to discover what you as a person can be able to do, which can act as a breakthrough," he added.
The pastor went on to encourage his congregation to leverage the mind God has given them to come up with innovative ideas that could change their lives.
"You must make progress. This lifestyle must change. This lifestyle must be pleasant," he declared.
He buttressed the point that passively waiting for employment opportunities is not the only path to success.
The sermon resonated with many in the congregation, who nodded in agreement and took notes, inspired by the call to action.
