Trotro preacher confronts passengers over silence

The incident, which took place in a trotro, started off with the supposed man of God attempting to lead the passengers in a call-and-response.

After a loud 'Hallelujah!' was met with near-total silence, his frustration quickly caused his vexation.

"You are all devils. The children of the devil. The devil has taken hold of you," he exclaimed.

The aged preacher's public bus sermon shifted from a message of salvation to a direct and aggressive confrontation.

He interpreted the passengers' silence as a sign of a deeper spiritual affliction.

In his words:

"This is not human madness; it is demonic madness. It's just emptiness, it's from the enemy's camp."

He added:

"The way you are behaving, it's as if you said you are enjoying this," he shouted. "This situation has become sweet to you, hasn't it?"

He argued that such practices are disruptive, infringe on other people’s rights, and should be regulated by authorities.

He stated bluntly that “those preaching in trotros should be sacked.”

He explained that people, based on his observations, had developed a tendency to label him as 'demonic' for simply minding his own business in the face of these preachers.
