Congratulatory messages have thronged in for Nti Akua Agyeiwaa, who sat for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

This comes after the school she completed, Integrity Keepers' School in Kumasi, took to Facebook to praise the girl for excelling in the exams.

School celebrates student with 10 Grade 1s

In celebrating her academic success, the school took to Facebook on August 26, after the results were released by the WAEC, to announce that the teenager had brought honour to the school by bagging Grade 1 in all the subjects she wrote.

The school, in its post, shared the results of the intelligent Junior High School graduate as proof, confirming that she had indeed chalked a feat worth celebrating.

By her performance, it was disclosed that Nti Akua Agyeiwaa had set an enviable record, emerging as the school’s best student in this year’s BECE.

The management of the school offered profound congratulations and praised her for making the school proud.

"Congratulations to Nti Akua Agyeiwaa! We are immensely proud to announce that she has emerged as the overall best student of Integrity Keepers' School in the recently released BECE results, attaining Grade 1 in all subjects with a remarkable aggregate of 6. On behalf of the management and staff of IKS, we extend our warmest felicitations. Ayekoo! Your dedication and hard work have truly raised the flag of Integrity Keepers High," the post read.

WAEC releases 2025 BECE results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), in a statement on August 24, 2025, announced that the provisional results of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) had been released.

The results were dispatched to the various schools through the district education directors.

The exam had 603,328 candidates, comprising 297,250 males and 306,078 females, from 20,395 schools across the country. It was conducted at 2,237 centres, with 2,526 candidates absent.

WAEC warns JHS graduates against fraudsters

The WAEC had also cautioned JHS graduates who sat for the 2025 BECE not to fall prey to fraudsters promising to upgrade their results.

"The Council wishes to caution all stakeholders to be wary of fraudsters who claim they can upgrade results for a fee. Candidates should note that WAEC results are secured and can be authenticated," the statement read in part.
